When a nine-kilogram dog scares away two young bears

In some parts of the United States, it is common to see bears visiting homes probably in search of food. A few days ago, at a California property in Monrovia, two young bears found themselves outside the front door.

It was there that a surveillance camera filmed a rather unusual scene. Seeing the two bears, a 9-kilogram French bulldog ran over the two plantigrades without hesitation. And run them until they run away.

We all know the expression "to get along like dogs and cats" or "dogs don't make cats". Here is a video that will undermine some convictions. Because yes: dogs and cats can get along. They can get along to the point of sharing a niche.

Here we see a dog and a cat who have just given birth to share the niche to breastfeed their young. The place is cramped but it seems to suit everyone and the man who comes to film the scene seems to disturb the calm that reigns there.

The French Bulldog, from the family of upturned-nosed dogs, needs a specific diet. This is mainly due to its anatomy and physiology. The temperature and breathing control mechanism of the French Bulldog are largely disturbed by the flattened nature of its snout and its rudimentary cones. During high temperatures, these physical characteristics become a real handicap for him. Moreover, by their body, the French Bulldogs are anything but marathon runners! In order to avoid accentuating these characteristics that can lead them hard, the masters should pay particular attention to the diet of their French Bulldog. In this way, they control their dog's weight and look after its health and well-being.
